Palmer Junction is a band from Enumclaw, Washington that plays Blues music. They play blues music of all types from many different artists and time periods, such as Peter Green, John Mayall, BB King, Eric Clapton, and Joe Bonamassa. Not limited to covers, Palmer Junction writes a lot of original music, influenced by each individual member’s backgrounds, giving the music its own unique flavor. They have been taking their music all over the greater Puget Sound, playing clubs from Tacoma to Anacortes.
The band is made up of five Washington natives: Aaron Saliba on guitar, Brian Olver on guitar, Chris Hansche on bass, Nick Dyer on drums, with Jenny Lee providing her dynamic vocals and tambourine skills. All of the members grew up in neighboring towns, not being united until the band started playing making music together.
Palmer Junction plays clubs and pubs regularly, but has had some notable performances such as: the Gray Skies Blues Festival 2012, the Old Town Blues Festival 2012, South Sound Blues Association’s Back to Beale Street Finals, Washington Blues Association’s International Blues Challenge Qualifiers, and the Muckleshoot Casino’s Battle of the Band Finals.
The band recently released their first collection of recordings entitled "At the Shed". This album was recorded at Pacific Recording Studios in Tacoma and by the band themselves in the shed. Heavily influenced by the blues music that brought the band together, the original music also contains hints of different influences from each individual member, giving it a unique sound.
