VISTOR NORIEGA QUARTET

Piano man Victor Noriega is one of the young guns of the Seattle Jazz scene. According to Todd Matthews of Earshot Jazz, Noriega's debut release, "Stone's Throw", ranks with one of the best CD's of 2003. Along with side man Charlie Smith on sax, Noriega creates a unique blend of jazz and modern classical influences that is energetic and boundary stretching. Catch the quartet for this Bon Voyage show the night before Victor leaves for Europe.

FIRKIN FRIDAYS

On Firkin Fridays, the Rockfish Grill offers cask conditioned versions of Anacortes ales. Cask conditioning is an English tradition that allows the beer to finish its fermentation in the barrel or "firkin" resulting in a character and complexity unique from any other beer. We'll offer a different variety every Friday served directly from the firkin with a traditional English hand pump. There's one batch a week and we pour till its gone, so get it while you can!

BLUES COUSINS

Russia's No. 1 blues band, Blues Cousins, return to the Rockfish Thursday, January 27th. Cover is $7 at the door. Showtime is 8 PM. Led by guitarist Levan Lomidze, the Cousins have appeared at many of the top music festivals in the world including recently France's "Blues Sur Seine" where they were voted the top act from nearly 60 international performers.
