Performing together for decades, the Stilly River Band delivers an exciting range of music, from bluegrass to progressive folk, Latin, Irish, rock and rhythm 'n blues. Their bluegrass arrangement of Sam & Dave's soul classic, Hold On, I'm Comin' will put a smile on your face for the rest of the day.

Known by some as “the bad boys of bluegrass”, the Stillys play and eclectic mix of music from traditional bluegrass to other less conventional styles played in a bluegrass format that the band labels “rude grass.”

The band features John Amber-Oliver on lead vocals and guitar, Jonathon Schneider on tenor harmonies and banjo, Stuart Torgeson on dobro and accordion, John Daugherty on vocals and stand up bass, Steve Stolpe on vocals and mandolin and Mike Schway on fiddle.

The Stilly River Band delivers accomplished musicianship, excellent vocal harmony and an always entertaining and unpredictable show. Looking for a cross between Earl Scruggs and the Tempations? These are your guys!

Led by bluesharp legend, Steve Bailey, the T Town Aces are a top notch act that will knock your socks of with their swinging blend of the blues.

Steve Bailey is truly a Northwest blues pioneer, starting his Seattle performing career in the late 1960's. Bailey was a mainstay of the original Public Market Blues scene, and the list of musicians that have played in his bands reads like a who's who of the Northwest Blues. A triple-threat performer on vocals, guitar, and harp, Bailey is also an accomplished songwriter, as well as running his own recording studio. Bailey's recordings with "The Blue Flames" took him on multiple tours to Europe and Japan, and he was the mastermind behind the international hit album, "Northwest Harmonica Showcase".

The past two decades have seen the emergence of young harmonica-led blues bands. In California, groups that draw their inspiration from the Chicago school but add elements of jump blues and rock 'n' roll into the mix have come up with an exciting new style of West Coast blues. In Oakland, the northern capital of California blues, resides the incredibly powerful harmonica player and vocalist Mark Hummel, leader of The Blues Survivors, who has been a major force in shaping and defining this musical genre.

Mark Hummel is a road warrior - a true Blues Survivor. Along the way, he has crafted his own trademark harmonica sound - a subtle combination of tone, phrasing and attack combined with a strong sense of swing. While Mark is new to Electro Fi Records, his earlier albums, constant touring and appearances at the major blues festivals have firmly established his solid reputation around the US and Europe.

Born in New Haven, Connecticut and raised in Los Angeles, California, Mark absorbed the music of such Chicago based harp blowers as Little Walter, James Cotton, and Sonny Boy Williamson, before settling in Berkeley, California in 1972. There he played with local bluesmen such as Cool Papa, Boogie Jake, Mississippi Johnny Waters and Sonny Lane. In 1980, he took the helm to lead the popular Blues Survivors Band.

In 1985, the Blues Survivors released Playing in Your Town, on Rockinitus Records, and immediately went out on the road. Earning their name, they toured virtually non-stop throughout the United States, Canada and Europe often playing alongside such blues greats as Charlie Musselwhite, Brownie McGhee, Lowell Fulson and Eddie Taylor.

While on tour with his band in 1988, Mark was introduced to Canadian guitarist and vocalist Sue Foley. After several tours that year, Mark and Sue released Up & Jumpin', which also features piano legend Charles Brown.

Eager to revive the Blues Survivors, though, Mark hit the road again in 1990, before releasing Hard Lovin' in 1992 on Double Trouble Records. He has been on the road constantly since then, stopping only to record Feel Like Rockin' in 1994 and Married to the Blues in 1995 on Flying Fish Records. He has performed at numerous festivals across the country, including the San Francisco Blues Festival, Chicago Blues Festival, King Biscuit Blues Festival, Waterfront Blues Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, and has performed and judged at the Hohner Harmonica World Championship, held in Germany.

For Heart of Chicago, Mark's sixth release and first on Tone-Cool, Mark traveled to the Windy City to record with some of the city's most legendary players and pay tribute to his Chicago blues influences. Featuring former Muddy Waters sidemen Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and Bob Stroger on drums and bass, guitarist Dave Myers from Little Walter's band, and others. In 1998 Mark released Lowdown To Uptown, his 7th cd, a mix of Chicago blues & uptown jazz. This cd featues great guests such as Jr. Watson, Mike Welch, Brenda Boykin & the last piano recording of the late, great Charles Brown. Mark's most current CD is called "Ain't Easy No More" on the Electro Fi label. A mixture of Hummel's originals and some choice rearrangements of previously recorded blues. It's receiving extended radio play at the moment.

Since 1991 Mark has been both producing & performing at his Blues Harmonica Blowout™ series. These shows have grown to be a much heralded event & continue to draw sellout crowds wherever they appear. The list of participents is a Who's Who of Blues harp history: John Mayall, John Hammond, Norton Buffalo, Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, Huey Lewis, Curtis Salgado, Kim Wilson, Watermelon Slim, Sugar Ray Norcia, Kenny Neal, James Harman, Fingers Taylor, Snooky Pryor, Dave Earl, Rod Piazza, Magic Dick, William Clarke, Rick Estrin, Paul DeLay, Billy Branch, Lazy Lester, Carey Bell, Little Sonny, Paul Osher, Lee Oskar, Cephas and Wiggins, Gary Primich, Paul Rischell and Annie Raines, Carlos Del Junco, Sam Myers and many more!

The Ian McFeron Band exploded onto the Seattle music scene shortly after releasing their debut album, Don't Look Back (2003), when they were discovered by "The Mountain" in Seattle (AAA-formatted KMTT at 103.7 FM). Within months, the first single, Love Me Twice, edged out songs by Modest Mouse, Bob Schneider, The Bo Deans, and Ray LaMontagne in The Mountain's "New Music Throwdown," a weekly competition where listeners vote for their favorite of two new songs. The band went on to share the spotlight with international and national artists such as Patty Griffin, Nanci Griffith, Shawn Mullins, Amos Lee, Sister Hazel, Missy Higgins, Julia Fordham, Carbon Leaf, The Hothouse Flowers, and Jars of Clay. The Ian McFeron Band continues to tour the western United States including WA, OR, ID, CO, UT, NM, AZ, TX, OK, and CA.

A prolific songwriter whose lyrical prose and fervent work ethic has drawn comparisons to Bob Dylan and Ryan Adams, McFeron has released a steady stream of albums: Don't Look Back (2003), A Long Way To Freedom (2005), and Fistfight With Father Time (2006). Let It Ride (2007) marks the band's fourth full length LP- a fourteen-track narrative spanning themes of love and heartbreak, faith and despair, political corruption and hope. Released on March 3rd, 2007, Let It Ride was celebrated with back-to-back shows at the Triple Door in Seattle, both of which sold out in advance.

In live performance, McFeron (vocals, guitars, piano) is joined by the Texas fiddle of Alisa Milner and the backbeat rhythms of Jon Markel and Mark Bateman. The band has also performed with well-known Northwest lead-guitar players such as Alice Stuart and Rod Cook, and with slide-guitar virtuoso Dan Tyack. The diverse musicianship of its members allows the Ian McFeron Band to shift smoothly through a variety of roots-Americana styles, ranging from acoustic folk rock to gritty alt-country blues, from heartfelt, soulful ballads to driving, danceable backbeat groves.

Stealing the show at major music venues, blowing away audiences, winning award after award both collectively and individually has all become common place for the Fat Tones.

In the last two years the Fat Tones have won 10 different awards at the Empire Blues Society Awards Banquet, including BEST BLUES GUITARIST, BEST BLUES BAND, BEST BLUES DRUMMER, BEST BLUES BASSIST, BEST BLUES ALBUM, BEST SLIDE GUITARIST and BEST PERFORMER.

The band's independent releases include their fifth CD “$50 and Free Beer”, joining the hot selling “Struttin'”, the ever popular “Three” and their debut "Bomb Run".

Sometimes fate allows all the puzzle pieces to fall into place, and that is exactly what happened one fruitful night a few years back at a club in Spokane, Washington. Bobby Patterson (Lead Guitar), Bob Ehrgott (Bass Guitar), and Robby Minton (Drums) got into a jam that electrified the audience and had them screaming for more.

Since then, the Fat Tones have evolved into a high-impact, progressive fusion of Blues and Rock that leaves their audiences blown away.

Blues Redemption is comprised of four multi-talented, award winning Puget Sound area musicians sharing a common passion for Blues music. Dedicated to the genre, they have been playing The Blues all their musical careers.

Brian Feist is a guitarist with an uncommon sense of melody, swing, and deep passion. If you love the blues in the tradition of early Clapton, B.B. King, Peter Green and Michael Bloomfield, then you will be transported when you hear him play.

Having toured locally and nationally, Doug Skoog has played piano with legendary greats such as Chuck Berry and John Lee Hooker. Formerly with Blue Tale Fly Band, a back up band for James Cotton and opening act for Siegel Schwall Band, John Prime, Sam Lay and Legendary Blues Band with Pine Top Perkins. Joe has played in a ton of bands since the late 60's including Goldbrick, Deep Summer, Sleeping Village, The Village Band, Mariah, Magnum, Adrian, Wild Honey, Pamela Moore, Flight, Billy Street, Stackhouse, New Blues Brothers Revue, Rapture and Lion Heart. Having played soft rock, hard rock, pop rock, country rock, Christian rock, rhythm and blues, funk, and even jazz standards, Joe feels right at home playing the blues and loves the freedom of expression it affords him.

An award winning drummer, Billy "Hot Pocket" Barner* a.k.a. "The Pocket" has performed internationally. His musical genre spans all styles from Rock, Blues, Motown, Soul, Funk, Afro/Cuban and New Orleans Second Line to Jazz and Country. Mary McPage is one of the finest female Blues Singers in the Pacific Northwest. Influenced by country, rock and torch, McPage knows how to sell a song. Be it a standard or one of her original compositions, this sassy singer can take it from kitten to volcano and back again.

Mary found the blues after the breakup of her original-alternative band OZMOSiS. A short time afterwards she realized she never wanted to sing any other type of music. In 1999, she released an acoustic blues CD - In Dog Years, with the group BLUE HOO. The CD landed her an invitation to appear on the nationally syndicated public radio show, WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour. Taped live and broadcast out of Lexington, KY, her humor and original songs were a hit with the audience.

McPage is now standing tall and lookin’ fine, fronting her own band. And this band can fire it up and entertain all night long.
